Silisium: a technical partner from engineering to site delivery
Silisium is an engineering and contracting company focused on mechanical systems for industrial facilities. We bring design, fabrication, erection, testing and handover together within one technical way of working. Across energy, process, petrochemical, steel, cement and manufacturing facilities, we know that a project is not just a drawing or a single fabrication item. Safe operation depends on reliable inputs, appropriate materials, controlled fabrication, correct erection, measurable quality and complete documentation being managed together.
Our approach begins with FEED and basic engineering, but it does not finish at the desk. We review actual site conditions, existing-plant interfaces, operating objectives, maintenance windows and access constraints at an early stage. This makes solutions buildable from the outset instead of requiring redesign during fabrication or erection. For clients, that means a clearer scope, better-controlled risk, stronger quality records and a facility that is better prepared for commissioning.
Integrated delivery from FEED to handover
“From FEED to handover” means that the disciplines between the first design input and mechanical completion are managed as one connected chain. Process data, loads, equipment requirements and codes feed the design; drawings, calculations, 3D models and fabrication packages are connected to workshop and procurement; at site, welding, erection, NDT, testing and close-out documents are followed under the same project logic. Silisium delivers its own specialist packages and, where necessary, coordinates technical interfaces with other contractors.
This way of working matters most on demanding facilities. High temperature, pressure, vibration, fatigue, corrosive environments, limited shutdown periods or dense interfaces with existing plant can turn an apparently isolated mechanical task into a complex risk-management matter. Our team combines FEA/CFD, pressure equipment, tank and piping design, steel construction, fabrication, QC, measurement and testing, and maintenance disciplines in one aligned solution plan.
Quality, records and safety
For us, quality is not a signature at final inspection; it is a management system running through the full scope. ITPs, welding and material traceability, dimensional checks, NDT results, test records and non-conformance close-out remain visible throughout the work. Safety is inseparable from this approach. Lifting, hot work, confined spaces, isolation, access and temporary supports are assessed together with technical planning. The objective is a buildable way of working that protects people, the facility and the delivery date.
Transparent communication and robust handover
The value to a client is not only a completed fabrication or erection activity, but a technical asset that can be managed afterwards. We therefore structure handover packages around calculations, approved drawings, material and welding records, test results, as-built information and close-out lists. Open technical matters, changes and risks are reported regularly so decisions can be taken at the right time. Silisium aims to deliver solutions that are technically defensible, executable at site and sustainable in operation.
